قد يكون التغاضي عن مثل هذه التصرفات مقابل الولاء للحزب أمرا شائعاً، مما يؤدي إلى خلق بيئة خصبة لنمو ثقافة الاستبداد واللامسؤولية.

وبالتالي فإن ارتباط مصير الشعب بجماعات محدودة وغير متنوعة يزيد الأمر سوءً ويحد من الفرص أمام المواطنين للتعبير عن آرائهم وممارسة حقوقهم بشكل كامل وحقيقي.

وهذا بدوره يعرقل التقدم نحو مجتمع أكثر علماً ومعرفة وأماناً أخلاقيًا وقانونياً.

لذا ربما حان الوقت لإعادة النظر في نظامنا الانتخابي الحالي وتشجيع المزيد من المنافسة الصحية والتنوع ضمن صفوف صناع القرار لدينا.
