الهجرة ظاهرة عالمية لها آثار متعددة على المجتمعات والفرد. وقد أصبح مفهوم "الهوية" محور نقاش واسع خاصة فيما يتعلق بموضوع الهجرة وما إذا كانت تشكل تهديدا للهوية الوطنية أم أنها عامل مؤثر وإيجابي فيها. البعض ينظر للهجر كمصدر توتر ثقافي ويخشى ذوبان الهوية المحلية تحت تأثير موجات من الوافدين الجدد الذين يجلبون ثقافات وعادات مختلفة. لكن هل هذا صحيح دائما؟ قد تساعد الهجرة فعليا في خلق نوع جديد من الهوية المتعددة الطبقات والمعبر عنها عبر التجارب المشتركة والعلاقات الاجتماعية بغض النظر عن الأصل الوطني للفرد. فالانتماء ليس مسألة جنسية فقط ولكنه أيضا شعور مشترك بقيم وأهداف مشتركة داخل مجموعة معينة سواء كانت وطنية أو محلية وحتى رقمية. عندما يتعايش أشخاص يحملون خلفيات متنوعة ويتفاعلون فيما بينهم يوميا، يحدث امتزاج وتبادل يؤثر على طريقة فهمهم لأنفسهم وللعالم المحيط بهم وبالتالي يتكون لديهم شعورا أقرب لما يمكن تسميته بهوية جماعية مشتركة. وفي الوقت نفسه يحتفظ كل فرد بجزء مميز من ذاتيته الخاصة مما يسمح بوجود فسيفساء جميلة وغنية بالحيوية والإبداع ضمن كيانات أكبر حجمًا. بالتالي بدلا من الخوف من الهجرة باعتبارها مصدر مشاكل وتعصب قومي، يجب النظر اليها باعتباره فرصة لإثراء وتعزيز التنوع الثقافي وبناء جسور التواصل والحوار بين الشعوب والذي سينتج عنه بشكل نهائي صناعة شكل مبتكر ومتقدم لمعنى كلمة وطن وهويتة. فالتاريخ يشهد بان الحضارات الاقدم اكتسبت قوتها بسبب انفتاحها وتقابلها مع اجناس اخري مختلفة وهذا الامر سوف يدفع بجميع الاجيال الجديدة للاستمتاع بحياة اكثر جمالا وسعادة . ان الاستثمار طويل المدي في مجال البحوث العلمية سيضمن لنا تحقيق امن غذائي مستدام خالٍ من الاعتماد الكبير علي المبيدات الكيميائية المؤذية لصحة الانسان والكائنات الاخري. انشاء نظام بيئي صحي قادر علي الدفاع عن نفسه ضد اي اعتداء خارجي امر ضروري للغاية لتحسين وضع قطاعات الزراعه والغذاء عالميا وهو هدف ممكن التحقق اذا ركز العالم جهوده نحو تحقيق ذلك الهدف بدلامالهوية والانتماء في عصر العولمة: تحديات وفرص

الهجرة والبحث العلمي على سبيل المثال ، لماذا لا توجه الحكومات جزءا اكبر من الاموال المرصدة لمحاربة افات المحاصيل الزراعية والتي تستهدف زيادة الانتاج الغذائي المحلي الى دعم وتمويل ابحاث علمية حديثة ومتخصصة تعمل علي تطوير انواع جديدة من النباتات التي تتمتع بقدرتها الطبيعية علي الصمود امام التقلبات المناخية والحشرات الضارة ؟

Regarding the example of migration and scientific research, why not allocate a larger portion of the budget designated to combat agricultural pests to support and fund advanced and specialized research aimed at developing new plant species that can withstand climate fluctuations and harmful insects? Investing in the long-term in scientific research will ensure us achieving sustainable food security free from excessive reliance on harmful chemical pesticides.
Establishing a healthy ecosystem capable of defending itself against external threats is crucial for improving the global situation of agriculture and food security, which is a feasible goal if the world focuses its efforts towards achieving it.
